Emergency Medicine APP
Emergency Medicine APP opening in Iowa located in Keosauqua, IA - just 78 miles from Iowa City. This is a full-time, permanent opening for an employed position. The role involves providing services in the Emergency Department (ED) and also functioning in a Hospitalist capacity (on an as-needed basis only) for the Medical/Surgical Floor with physician co-management.
Job Description
- Provide services in the Emergency Department (ED)
- Function in a Hospitalist capacity for the Medical/Surgical Floor as needed
- Schedule: 48-hour shifts
Requirements
- Experience with ED procedures including RSI, procedural sedation, fracture reduction, suture skills, splinting, arthrocentesis, and I&Ds required
- Experience caring for pediatric, OB/GYN, and geriatric patients in an ED setting
- A strong desire to provide high-quality care in a rural community
- Must be a team player, strong communicator, and have an attitude of service to ensure patients have an exceptional experience in times of need
