Critical Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Columbus Regional Health Physicians is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Critical Care and Pulmonology Services team in Columbus, Indiana. This position involves collaboration with critical care physicians to provide comprehensive care in a closed critical care unit, including consults and rounding on critical care outreach programs and pulmonology consulting services.
Job Description
- Collaborate with critical care physicians in admissions and rounding within the closed critical care unit.
- Assist in performing consults and rounding on the critical care outreach program and pulmonology consulting service for patients on hospitalist, surgery, and other services.
- Work within a supportive network encompassing multiple specialties, focusing on patient care with robust administrative support.
- No night shifts, call rotation, or weekend coverage; nights are covered by a dedicated, in-house APP team.
- Procedures are not required for this position.
Schedule
- Full-Time, 40 hours per week
- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Requirements
- Preferred: Prior inpatient experience, ideally in critical care and/or pulmonology.
- Required: At least one year of experience in an inpatient setting.
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
Nurse Practitioner Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Current RN license in Indiana
- Active, unlimited license from the Indiana State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practical Nursing
Physician Assistant Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Training program
- Unlimited Physician Assistant license from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board
