Family Medicine with OB

Join our dynamic team in Emmetsburg, IA, where we are seeking a Family Medicine physician with OB fellowship training. This full-time, permanent position offers an excellent work-life balance with a 4-day work week.

Job Description

• Must be able to perform C-sections
• Busy practice with instant volume
• Join 3 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers
• Work in a modern medical facility with opportunities to perform obstetrics and C-sections, as well as work emergency department shifts
• Tailor your practice to your interests
• Modern 25-bed critical access hospital providing a full continuum of primary health care from health promotion to end-of-life care
• 67 annual admissions, 114 births, 22,126 outpatient visits, 5,258 specialty clinic visits, and 34,636 primary care clinic visits
• On-site lab, X-ray, ER, pharmacy, and behavioral health services
• Outreach specialists from general surgery, cardiology, ENT, urology, orthopedic surgery, dermatology, otolaryngology, audiology, wound care, and ophthalmology
• Health system aggressively pursuing market share to ensure a thriving Family Practice/OB practice

Requirements

• Board eligible (within 3 years of eligibility, with plans to become board certified within 1 year of employment) or board certified in Family Medicine
• IA license or IMLC (or willing to obtain)
• OB fellowship trained (to be completed prior to start)
• Provider must be able and interested in performing C-sections
