    NP/PA Family Practice

    Join our team in Ellsworth, KS, as a full-time Advanced Practice Provider. This position offers a schedule of 4 days a week from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with on-call responsibilities of one weeknight every two weeks and one weekend every six weeks.     Job Description

    • Provide Family Practice Medicine in our Rural Health Clinics, hospital inpatient suites, and Emergency Department.
    • Serve as a primary care provider for preventative care, evaluation of new complaints, routine recurring visits for chronic illnesses, inpatient care, and emergencies when clinically indicated.
    • Discriminate between normal and abnormal findings to recognize early stages of serious physical, emotional, or mental health problems.
    • Work to achieve positive outcome measures based on state and federal mandates and financial incentives.

    Requirements

    • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
    • Current state license to practice as a Physician Assistant or current state RN license and possession of a current Nurse Practitioner Certification required.
    • Previous experience related to the management of inpatients and ED care preferred.
