Location: Storm Lake, Iowa

Job Description:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Employed at a critical access hospital serving 25,000 people
• Deliver approximately 350 babies, perform 3,000 surgeries, and have 57,000 outpatient visits annually
• Practice Internal Medicine in a rural community with a diverse population
• Established, busy practices with two UnityPoint Primary Care Practices: Buena Vista Clinic & Family Health Center
• Current providers: 7 Physicians & 3 APPs
• Provider mix includes Family Medicine, Family Medicine with OB, Internal Medicine, and Palliative Care APP
• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical
• Offer an array of services and visiting specialists
• 36 patient contact hours with flexible scheduling
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR
• Work in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Average of 25 patients per day
• Call shared among partners
• Emphasis on communication, teamwork, and improving community health
• Commitment to providing the best outcome for every patient every time

Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine and surgery in Iowa
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to work as a team member
