Internal Medicine Advanced Practice Provider

Located in Quincy, Illinois, just 111 miles from Springfield, this full-time position offers an opportunity to join a skilled and compassionate Internal Medicine team.

Job Description

• Conduct patient assessments and perform physical exams
• Develop treatment plans and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families on health management and preventive care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing (for Nurse Practitioners) or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Illinois
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC, AANP) or Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Previous experience in Internal Medicine or primary care is preferred but not required
