    Job Description

    • Perform high-quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
    • Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
    • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
    • Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
    • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
    • Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
    • Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
    • Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
    • Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
    • Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
    • Demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
    • Demonstrate ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

    Requirements

    • State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT).
    • BLS certification depending on state regulations.
    • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

    Benefits

    • Pay range: USD $38.00 - USD $44.00 per hour.
    • Flexibility required for shift variations: PRN as needed, varied schedule, and may work at multiple locations.
