Non-Invasive/General Cardiologist

Location: Louisville, Kentucky

Job Description:

• Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible cardiologist to join the program as a Non-Invasive/General Cardiologist.
• Academically-oriented clinicians who excel in both patient care and teaching of house staff and fellows with a strong interest in clinical or translational research are preferred.
• Clinical interests in consultative and outpatient cardiovascular care, and non-invasive imaging (echo, nuclear, MRI, CT) are ideal.
• Excellent opportunities for collaborative research exist with the state-of-the-art facilities at the Institute of Molecular Cardiology and Center for Cardiometabolic Science.
• This robust academic department consists of specialists in various subdivisions of Cardiology, including electrophysiology, interventional and structural cardiology, heart failure, and more.
• Research initiatives will be encouraged, and candidates will be expected to establish an academic portfolio and an area of expertise.
• Fellow and resident education is an integral component of the job, with opportunities for academic advancement and leadership in committees.

• Applicants must be eligible for Kentucky licensure.
