New permanent opening for a Dermatology provider in Portsmouth, OH. Options for salary up to $538,590 annually.

Job Description

• SOMC is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) Dermatologist to join our rapidly growing and highly productive outpatient dermatology clinic.
• Office hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
• Call requirements: Call can be taken from home and would be for clinic patients that may have a complication after hours. Calls are rare, typically once every few months.
• Staffing includes 1 Dermatologist, 2 MOA, 2 LPN, 1 CMA, 1 Documentation Assistant, and 1 Office Manager.
• Case load of 40-45 patients per day and 20-30 procedures per day.
• Procedures include shave/punch biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, intralesional and intramuscular injections, medical Botox, I&Ds, intense pulse light treatments, chemical peels, and comedone extraction.
• Equipment includes a phototherapy booth, intense pulsed light machine, Hyfrecator, smoke evacuator, microscope, dermatoscopes, and supplies to support all procedures. All rooms are set up to be procedure rooms.
• Additional details/expectations of the position: We have phlebotomy lab services across the hall for needed testing, an in-house specialty pharmacy, and outpatient pharmacy services onsite.

Compensation

• Option 1: Base salary of $413,370 (50th percentile MGMA for those just completing training) with additional compensation for experience, guaranteed for 2 years. Can be switched to a wRVU production contract when exceeding target.
• Option 2: Base salary of $538,590 (75th percentile MGMA) guaranteed for one year and then switched to a wRVU production contract.
• 5% less for those not yet boarded; salary adjusted accordingly upon board certification.
