We have a new locum need for a Gastroenterologist in Clyde and Sylva, NC. This position is available for an ASAP start with temporary privileges available.

Job Description

• Ongoing need for a Gastroenterologist with NC license only
• EMR systems used: McKesson and Athena
• Average of 10 plus patients per day
• Inpatient and outpatient coverage
• Call available

We are experiencing shortages in our GI coverage across two hospitals, which has created some difficulty in keeping patients in the hospital with GI needs. In an effort to assist with call coverage as well as address the backlog of patients and screening procedures, we would like to pull in locum assistance, which would amount to a full-time equivalent position. This position would include weekdays and weekends.

Rates

• Regular: $385
• 24-hour call: $3,500
• Night call: $500
