New opportunity for a Psychiatrist in Billings, MT. This position is for the Psychiatric Youth Treatment Unit (PYTU), where the average patient volume can be 8 to 12 per day. The provider will not be admitting from the Emergency Department (ED) but may be required to do direct admissions from regional hospitals, which are coordinated through the in-house transfer center. Locums are not on call during non-business hours, covering scheduled assigned shifts only. PYTU treats patients aged 5 to 17 and has a need for one provider every Wednesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Description

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) is required.
• Provide care for youth patients in a structured treatment environment.

Requirements

• BE/BC accepted.
• IMLC or MT license eligible to apply.
