    Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team! As an Interventional Technologist, no day will be the same! You'll experience different challenges each day while working in a fast-paced environment.

    Job Description

    • Work directly with the provider to best serve patients, scrubbing in on cases and operating appropriate scanning equipment.
    • Perform radiographic examinations of the highest possible quality while limiting exposure and using conventional, fluoroscopic, portable, and c-arm radiology equipment.
    • Assist with diagnostic/interventional procedures to patients of all ages, under the supervision of department Radiologist.
    • Comply with measures to assure that patient/customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained.
    • Appropriately supervise students according to competency level.
    • Comply with and provide leadership in maintaining an environment that supports our philosophy and values.

    Requirements

    • Knowledge of radiological standards and procedures normally acquired through completion of a diploma from an approved AMA school of radiological technology, an Associate's Degree in Radiology, or other manner to meet requirements of the ARRT.
    • Possess State of Wisconsin Radiographer license.
    • Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
    • ACLS certification beneficial.
