Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, MI is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our team.

Job Description

• Assists RN and physician during operative and invasive procedures
• Cleans and sterilizes surgical instruments
• Ensures availability and condition of supplies
• This position will work in the OR and Endoscopy
• Full-time; 0.8 FTE or 64 hours per pay period
• Weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call required

Requirements

• Knowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• One year of healthcare/patient care experience required
• Former operating room surgical tech experience or a graduate of a surgical tech program strongly preferred
• BLS certification preferred
