Clinic CMA/LPN - Pediatrics

Join our team as a Clinic CMA/LPN in Pediatrics, where you will be part of a dedicated group providing care to children in a supportive environment.

Job Description

• Rooms patients and assists in procedures
• Schedules tests/procedures and administers injections
• Prepares charts and abstracts results
• Cleans and stocks rooms, and may assist with autoclaving
• Monitors and responds to MyChart requests, result notes, unviewed results, unread message alerts, etc.
• Completes stat prior authorizations and treatment visits for patients who may need a blood pressure check, ear lavage, immunization, etc.
• Works the Epic In Basket and responds to non-symptom-based calls from patients regarding refill requests, paperwork, immunization questions, etc.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or WI LPN license
• CPR certification and ability to maintain confidentiality required
• Certification with American Association of Medical Assistants preferred
• Previous experience in pediatrics and/or family practice preferred
• Prior Epic experience preferred
