C.H.O.I.C.E.S. Infant Mental Health and Home-Based Services Supervisor
The C.H.O.I.C.E.S. IMH and HB Services Supervisor is responsible for providing administrative and clinical supervision to master's level psychotherapists delivering clinical services and supports to clients ages 0-21 that require the most intensive level of Outpatient Community Mental Health services.
Job Description
- Provide administrative and clinical supervision to master's level psychotherapists.
- Participate in and support designated C.H.O.I.C.E.S Clinical Therapists through completion of MDHHS/DWIHN Evidence Based Practices Certification Training Cohorts.
- Provide clinical supervision to field placement trainees in social work, psychology, and professional counseling programs seeking IMH-related expertise.
- Train new clinical therapists and placement trainees, as well as provide individual staff supervision (1x week) and group supervision (1x month), with supervision meetings documented within the agency's identified supervision form.
- Provide additional clinical supports to C.H.O.I.C.E.S Clinical Therapists as identified by the Director of C.H.O.I.C.E.S Outpatient Services.
- Work within the guidance of the Director of C.H.O.I.C.E.S Outpatient Services to ensure that the agency's processes, procedures, and outcomes align with the Assured Family Services vision and mission statements, fostering a cohesive and purpose-driven organizational approach.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited school.
- Proof of registration and licensure within defined area.
- Level II IMH Certification is a must (Level III IMH Certification preferred).
- Three to five years supervisory experience.
- Experience in the mental health/human services field.
- Two or more years related experience and/or training in infant and early childhood development.
- A complete understanding and knowledge of current federal, state, and local statutes relating to the delivery of services to children and families.
- Familiarity with Medicaid policies and procedures and a general knowledge of Detroit-Wayne Integrated Health Network, Michigan Department of Health Human Services, and the Wayne County Juvenile Court system.
- Strong computer skills and excellent communication and interdisciplinary team skills.
