School Services Clinician

Under the direction of the C.H.O.I.C.E.S Director, this position assesses family needs, develops and implements individualized treatment plans, and implements interventions that facilitate youth and family progress toward specific goals and objectives. The clinician participates in multi-disciplinary case staffing and utilizes caseload management systems. They conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions in person and/or utilizing telehealth in accordance with professional standards. Collaboration with appropriate agencies and parties within the community, DPSCD, and Wayne County system of care is essential, along with performing other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Requirements

• Master's level counselor/social worker
• Proof of registration and licensure within defined area
• Experience working in a K-12 school setting preferred
• Experience providing individual/family/group therapy to diverse populations utilizing telehealth services required
• Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail
• Strong computer skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Adequate transportation for frequent school and office visits, along with a valid driver's license and auto insurance
