Locum Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Seeking a Board-Certified Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a 3-month assignment with the potential for extension. This position supports a comprehensive cardiology program serving Oregon's South Coast.

Job Description

• Full-time schedule (4x10s)
• Clinic and hospital hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Rotating weekly schedule between inpatient and outpatient settings
• Approximately clinic patients per day
• Approximately 8-15 hospital patients per day
• 50/50 inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• Work alongside four cardiologists
• Support includes assigned medical assistant, triage RN team, and dedicated device clinic staff
• Exposure to general cardiology, invasive cardiology, and electrophysiology
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Active Oregon license (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
• DEA registration (verbal confirmation required at name clear)
• Current NPDB Self-Query report dated within the required timeframe
• CAQH login information required at time of offer
• Clean background and malpractice history preferred
• Must meet criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional privileges
