    Location: North Region Offices (Vineland, Bridgeton, Woolwich, Mullica Hill/Tomlin, Sicklerville, Deptford, and Glassboro)

    Job Description:

    • Manage the daily operations of the MRI function throughout the assigned region.
    • Coordinate all changes with the Senior Chief MRI Technologist.
    • Direct the activities of staff MRI Technologists.
    • Prepare and administer the monthly schedule, ensuring coverage for unscheduled absences.
    • Approve or deny time off requests and timecards following AMI protocol.
    • Submit and maintain ACR certifications for assigned locations.
    • Ensure MRI safety protocols are followed and that staff receive training.
    • Review all MRI protocols, policies, and procedures as assigned.
    • Provide training for new employees and update existing staff with in-services.
    • Address performance issues in a timely and fair manner.
    • Perform work as a staff MRI Technologist, operating all aspects of the MR scanning unit.
    • Work as a scanning technologist a minimum of 1 day per week, covering departmental needs.
    • Cover other MRI regions as needed and coordinate PTO time with fellow technologists.
    • Be available during off hours to assist when needed.
    • Complete daily work schedules and monitor patient flow.
    • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, advising Office Administrators of maintenance needs.
    • Participate in office meetings, in-service programs, and continuing education programs.
    • Demonstrate competency in assisting patients across all age categories.

    Requirements:

    • Experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT MR registry or ARMRIT registry.
    • Maintain credentials and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per AMI policy.
    • Ability to learn specific job duties and complete detailed work assignments.
    • Ability to direct a workforce, provide support to staff, and delegate job duties.
    • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
    • Initiative and ability to set and achieve high performance standards.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
    • Ability to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints.

    Professional Development:

    • Participate in rotation coverage and attend monthly operations meetings.

    Work Schedule:

    • Includes days and evenings with weekend availability. Schedules are subject to change based on business and department needs, balancing clinical scanning with administrative responsibilities.
