The Division Director of Acute Care Surgery is an inaugural role at AtlantiCare, offering candidates a unique chance to shape and contribute to the surgical program while aligning with our Vision 2030 goals. These goals include improving patient outcomes, developing a robust research program, and providing education through our partnership with Drexel University.
Job Description
- Join a team of board-certified general and surgery-critical care surgeons providing trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery care for the southeastern New Jersey community.
- AtlantiCare is an ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center established 33 years ago, managing more than 2,000 trauma encounters annually.
- The Acute Care Surgery service line, established less than two years ago, is rapidly expanding and offers a diverse surgical caseload.
- This leadership role provides the unique opportunity to shape protocols, lead quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate with a talented multidisciplinary team to elevate surgical outcomes.
- Utilize Cerner EMR and coordinated care teams for efficiency and continuity.
