    Occupational Therapist

    Join our dynamic team as an Occupational Therapist in an outpatient setting for 13 weeks. This opportunity offers a great team and very supportive staff. The traveler will primarily be working in an outpatient setting.

    Job Description

    Housing and Vehicle Information

    • Facility provides housing and a rental car/vehicle to travelers during the assignment.
    • Housing units are typically 1-bedroom apartments.
    • Housing will be available for move-in not earlier than 72 hours before the contract begins and not longer than 24 hours after the contract ends.
    • Pets are not allowed.
    • Housing units are typically large enough to accommodate only the traveler. Bringing additional family members is not common and needs to be approved by the facility.
    • The housing unit will need to be cleaned upon departure or it will be subject to additional cleaning fees billed to the traveler.
    • Facility will arrange for a vehicle for the traveler to use while on assignment. The vehicle will either be a facility-owned vehicle that will be rented to the traveler or a vehicle through a rental car company.
    • Vehicle will be available for use no earlier than 72 hours before the contract begins and not longer than 24 hours after the contract ends.
    • Only the traveler is authorized to be the operator of the vehicle.
    • The traveler must provide a copy of a valid driver's license and proof of insurance prior to operating the vehicle.
    • Traveler's personal vehicle insurance policy must have rental car insurance to cover any accidents/damages to a rental car.
    • Vehicles for traveler use are provided solely for use around town and should not be taken off-road or outside of a 30-mile radius from the facility.
    • If the traveler has time off during their contract, they must turn in the vehicle during time off and they will be issued a new vehicle when they return.
    • If you would like tire chains for the vehicle, this will be an additional cost billed to the traveler.
    • The vehicle must be cleaned before return and returned with a full tank of gas.

    Requirements

    • CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
    • State License - Occupational Therapist - Alaska
    • NPI Number
    • Physical abilities: Able to lift from 50-100 lbs
