    General Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive cardiac care to patients in various inpatient and outpatient settings.
    • Perform diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiograms (EKGs), echocardiograms, and stress tests.
    • Interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans for various cardiovascular conditions.
    • Perform cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures (depending on the cardiologist's subspecialty).
    • Educate and counsel patients on heart disease prevention, risk factors, and healthy lifestyle choices.
    • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals (nurses, surgeons, specialists) to ensure coordinated patient care.
    • Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients.
    • Stay current on the latest advancements in cardiology through continuing education.
