General Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of digestive system disorders in adults and potentially children.
- Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as endoscopies, X-rays, CT scans, and blood tests.
- Perform endoscopic procedures to diagnose and treat digestive conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Manage chronic digestive conditions and provide ongoing patient care.
- Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate patients on digestive health and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients.
- Stay current on the latest advancements in gastroenterology through continuing education.

- Active and unrestricted medical license in Tennessee.
- At least one year of experience providing gastroenterology care.
