Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a Locum Nurse Practitioner specializing in Pain Management in Lovington, NM, offering $80-$100/hr.

Job Description

• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 26 weeks
• Shift Details: 10/hr days, 40 hrs per week
• Schedule: Mon-Thurs 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
• Support staff: 1 Physician specializing in Pain, 1 NP, 2 RNs, 3 MAs
• Patients per day: 18-20 patients
• Patient population/age: Adult
• Department Description: Pain Management Clinic that provides interventional pain management and medication management. The physician in the clinic also performs procedures two days per week and is very knowledgeable in Pain Management to provide help with any questions the NP may encounter. This clinic goes to great lengths to ensure the safety of its patients and to ensure that prescriptions are provided in a safe and ethical manner, following strict protocols.
• EMR: Epic
• Skills required: Knowledge of chronic pain management and prescribing medications (No Suboxone Prescriptions).
• Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic

Requirements

• Board Certification: Yes
• License required: Yes, or IMLC
• DEA: Yes
• CSR: Yes
• Certifications required: BLS
• Minimum experience required: 1 year
