General Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive healthcare for women across all stages of life.
- Conduct gynecological exams, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Perform surgical procedures, such as hysterectomies, cesarean sections, and minimally invasive surgeries.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of women’s health conditions.
- Provide counseling on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients.
- Stay current on the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through continuing education.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of obstetrics and gynecology, including pregnancy, childbirth, and women’s health conditions.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Minimum Education Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Residency training program in obstetrics and gynecology accredited by the ACGME or the AOA.
License & Certifications:
- Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology by the ABOG or the AOA.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Oklahoma.
Experience Requirements:
- Most locum OB/GYN positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience providing obstetric and gynecological care in a clinical or hospital setting.
