Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician
Location: Tacoma, WA
Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive healthcare for women across all stages of life.
- Conduct gynecological exams, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Perform surgical procedures, such as hysterectomies, cesarean sections, and minimally invasive surgeries (depending on scope of practice).
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of women's health conditions.
- Provide counseling on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as pediatricians and neonatologists, for optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients.
- Stay current on the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through continuing education.
Schedule and Coverage:
- Shift Coverage: 24 Hour On Call
- Shift Schedule: Standard 5, 24-Hour 07:00 (Flexible) - 07:00 (Flexible)
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of obstetrics and gynecology, including pregnancy, childbirth, and women's health conditions.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

- Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the AOA.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington.
