Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) - Palliative Care

Location: Tucson, Arizona

Job Description:

• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team at Banner University Medical Center Tucson
• Provide specialized medical care for people with serious illnesses requiring end-of-life care
• Involve in clinical symptom management and engage in serious and end-of-life discussions with patients and families
• Provide consultations regarding goals of care and advance care planning
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care

Requirements:

• Current/Eligible (ACNP) Certification and Arizona License
• CHPN/ACHPN preferred
• Current CPR and BLS
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances
• Patient care experience preferred in Palliative, Hospice, Geriatrics, or End-of-Life Care
• Excellent communication and team skills, ready to thrive in an academic environment

Work Schedule:

• Full Time
• M-F Daytime Shift (8-5)
• No Call, No Weekends
