Transplant Nephrology Advanced Practice Provider

Location: Tucson, Arizona

Join our highly trained team of Nephrologists and kidney care staff at Banner University Medical Group. Our Advanced Practice Providers offer medical management to patients during their general nephrology and post-transplant care phases. This role focuses on outpatient care within our Tucson hospital and clinics.

Job Description:

• 100% Clinical
• Average 16 patients per day
• Strong camaraderie with colleagues, pharmacists, nurses, dieticians, and social workers
• Educational opportunities include didactic nephrology lectures 3 times a week, teaching materials, and faculty training

Work Schedule:

• Mon-Fri 8-5
• Selected & limited weekend call coverage expected

Requirements:

• APP experience in Nephrology and/or Kidney Transplant preferred
• Board Certification required
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
• Highly qualified new graduates with related/specialty experience will be considered
