Advanced Practice Provider (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

Job Description:

• Manage patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
• Interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications
• Educate patients and their families
• Conduct consultations
• Participate in research activities
• Attend inpatient rounds
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
• Manage a neurosurgery service in a fast-paced environment
• Offer flexible schedule availability
• Treat patients with Epilepsy and Functional Neurosurgical disorders

Requirements:

• Board Certification
• Preferred background in Neurosurgery
• No minimum years of experience required
• RNFA not required
• Current Arizona Medical License upon hire
• Critical Care training and experience preferred
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Current prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substances
