Echocardiography Technologist

Job Description:

• Understand all aspects of cardiac disease and perform different types of echocardiography testing with accuracy and analytical skills.
• Operate laboratory equipment and perform and communicate results of all types of echocardiography testing to other healthcare providers.
• Maintain a high standard of medical ethics at all times.
• Self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of cardiac diseases and new procedures and applications as they evolve.

Requirements:

• High School, Certificate, GED, Training, or Experience.
• ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer.
• Graduate from an accredited allied health program, preferably with a separate track on cardiovascular ultrasonography.
• Current BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
