Radiologic Technologist

Location: South Florida

Job Description:

• Provides a variety of quality radiographic imaging under the general direction of a physician, including fluoroscopy on all age groups served by the entity, ensuring the principles of ALARA are achieved.
• Participates in the department's quality improvement processes, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
• Supports department's patient workflow, such as front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, patient intake, and other duties as assigned and supported by scope of practice.

Requirements:

• Degrees: High School, Certificate, GED, Training, Experience
• Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support, Certified Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography
• Additional Qualifications: Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology. Six months of experience in an acute care setting preferred. ARRT Radiography certified or eligible.
• Competency in skills such as vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG, front desk duties including quick registration, etc., may be required depending on departmental business needs.
• Change agility and flexibility are a must.
• Minimum Required Experience: Less than 1 year

Professional Development:

• Estimated pay range for this position is $25.74 - $33.46 per hour, depending on experience.
