Location: Louisville, KY
Job Description:
- Compile all relevant EMS patient transport support documentation such as PCS forms, EMTALA forms, Face Sheets, etc.
- Collate all EMS records before patient transport or within 48 hours of transport.
- Use an approved Emergency Medical Dispatch program to appropriately triage all calls based on severity (emergent) need and provide dispatch services with 10% or less error rate.
- Update EPIC and iPCR (or other electronic patient care reporting system) with a 5% or less error rate.
- Ensure the integrity of data prior to submission to billing company.
- Actively monitor information entered into EPIC and ePCR forms and maintain a knowledge base of current data practices within the organization.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required, EMT education preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year prior dispatch/communication experience required.
- Working knowledge and use of MS Office products.
- Must obtain Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist (CADS) within 1 year from hire date.
- Must be able to work any day/shift.
