Physician Assistant - Dermatology

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full-time or part-time Physician Assistant to join our Division of Dermatology. Candidates must have at least one year of experience independently practicing dermatology to be considered for this opportunity.

Job Description

• Work alongside 3 Dermatologists, including a Mohs surgeon and Teledermatologist, and 5 Advanced Practice Clinicians
• Dermatology experience preferred
• Medical Dermatology with additional opportunity for Pediatric Dermatology, Procedural, Laser, and Cosmetic Dermatology as desired
• Manage 25-30 patients per day over 5 clinical days
• Outpatient practice with no call
• Full support staff available
• Office locations in Cooperstown, Oneonta, Cobleskill, Delhi/Andes, Herkimer, and Little Falls with the opportunity to select your primary location
• Must be able to work in a team environment and independently
• Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare's good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Competitive RVU incentive with strong internal referral network
• Sign-on bonus up to $50,000

Requirements

• National Certification as a Physician Assistant
• NYS Licensure
• BLS Certification required
• DEA required
