    Bassett Healthcare Network Neurologist

    Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and services to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York.     Job Description

    • Join an established group of neurologists in an academic setting
    • Opportunity to develop a neurology subspecialty program
    • Anticipated mix of specialty and general neurology, with at least 50% of the time in neuromuscular
    • Mostly in-person outpatient clinic with opportunity for some remote tele-neurology
    • Opportunity for academic appointment at Columbia University and teaching Bassett IM Residents & Columbia-Bassett Medical Students
    • Inpatient & outpatient tele-neurology support from University of Rochester
    • Very limited call; 2-4 days per month
    • Full spectrum case mix and diverse patient population
    • EMR-EPIC
    • Salary range: $240,000 - $340,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare's good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
    • Bassett offers physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
    • Sign-on bonus up to $100,000

    Requirements

    • MD, DO or MBBS
    • Board eligible or board certified
    • New York State licensure
    • BLS certification required
    • Required stroke experience; reading EEG and/or performing EMG desirable
    • DEA required
