Join our team as a Nurse in Cape Cod CCS, located in Hyannis, MA. This position offers a per diem schedule with available shifts on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7 AM to 3 PM, totaling 32 hours per week.

Job Description

• Provide direct nursing care to adults in a residential program serving adults with significant psychiatric, behavioral, and medical impairment.
• Duties include provision of nursing care, communication with medical and psychiatric providers, health care promotion and advocacy, ordering medications from the pharmacy, staff education, and client education.
• Complete nursing and health assessments on all clients in a routine manner.

Requirements

• Massachusetts Licensed Registered Nurse or LPN.
• A minimum of three years nursing experience in the delivery of behavioral health services to adults and/or children and adolescents.
• Current certification in CPR.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a member of multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a pressured situation and maintain clarity, focus, judgment, and compassion.
• Ability to identify problems and initiate solutions to problems.
• Ability to work with people in crisis in a hopeful and compassionate manner and model this for others.
• Ability to work independently.
• Driving license required.
