Join our team at Kent Campus Hospital as a Physical Therapist Assistant. This per diem position offers flexibility with hours and shifts as needed, allowing you to contribute to patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Job Description

• Perform physical therapy services for inpatients and outpatients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Plan, implement, deliver, and assess the effectiveness of treatment.
• Maintain regular communication with the assigned or supervising Physical Therapist regarding patients on caseload.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients across the lifespan as appropriate.
• Notify the primary therapist when modifications to the plan of care are needed based on patient progression or changes in medical status.
• Incorporate a variety of treatment techniques based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and allied health staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document treatment procedures and ensure compliance with legal and departmental policies.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance.
• Delaware State Certification/License.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Preferred: One to two years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
