After School Program (ASP) Licensed Group Facilitator

Job Description:

• Work with children ages 6-12 in a community-based partial hospitalization setting.
• Develop, implement, and manage curriculum and treatment for youth referred to the After School Program (ASP).
• Administer appropriate therapeutic groups to youth within various clinical topics as directed via curriculum based on individual client treatment needs.
• Lead group/team activities and handle clinical planning of therapeutic groups and individual clients involved in ASP.
• Supervise client activities and ensure the whereabouts and safety of clients during ASP time.
• Protect clients from physical and emotional harm using the Therapeutic Crisis Model of Intervention, including the use of physical restraints as necessary.
• Assist in crisis intervention, problem resolution, and process discussions with clients on an as-needed basis.
• Plan and write curriculum for groups, ensuring they are completed and approved by the After School Program Clinical Supervisor prior to sessions.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Valid Ohio LSW or LPC required.
