Job Description

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Provide hands-on therapy, exercises, and techniques to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall physical function
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for at-home care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably with a focus on pediatrics
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy and other manual therapy techniques
• In-depth understanding of physiology and how it relates to physical therapy
• Ability to provide acute care to patients with complex medical conditions
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Strong problem-solving skills to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Compassion and empathy for patients undergoing physical therapy
