    Job Description:

    • St. Louis Children's Hospital has a unique opportunity for a Resident Physical Therapist to work with our Young Athlete Center and MLS.
    • Work in the training room and provide field coverage for STL City academy.
    • Weekend and evening coverage needed.

    Role Purpose:

    • Provide skilled physical therapy services to patients, including all aspects of evaluation and treatment.
    • Participate in clinical mentoring and research experiences with hospital sports physical therapy residency mentors and staff.
    • Engage in sports medicine training with local community partners and provide rehabilitation services under supervision.

    Requirements:

    • Education:
      • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study
    • Licenses & Certifications:
      • Physical Therapist License
    • Experience:
      • No experience required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Education:
      • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (PT)
    • Experience:
      • 2-5 years

    Responsibilities:

    • Complete documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
    • Provide assessment, reassessment, and consultations for physical therapy services.
    • Establish treatment plans and provide treatment, considering discharge needs.
