Oncology Nurse Educator

The Outpatient Cancer Center provides intravenous administration of medication, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood products. Direct specialized patient care and education for the outpatient Oncology population, including Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Hematology patient population.
Job Description
- Monday - Friday; No weekends or holidays
- Creates and implements staff education and professional development activities and programs that optimize patient outcomes.
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates ongoing educational and professional development activities and programs for clinical and non-clinical areas.
- Collaborates with staff and representatives of other organizations to develop, present, and/or evaluate clinically focused training, continuing education, and/or professional development opportunities.
- Participates in activities that promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborates with leadership to assess the educational needs of the staff and develops an appropriate education plan.
- Participates in professional development and lifelong learning.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in an Oncology nursing role required
- OCN certification required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field
- RN license
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- 5-10 years of experience
- Basic Cardiovascular Life Support certification

Pay Details
$68,224.00 - $104,811.20 / year (Salary or hourly rate is based on job qualifications and relevant work experience)
