Physical Therapist

This position is responsible for assessing patient, family, and significant other health problems and resources, and for providing technical therapeutic care and intervention to designated patient populations. This position takes a leadership role in the development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a plan of care provided by the therapy team.

Job Description

• Provide services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
• Actively participate in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital while demonstrating behavior consistent with the Core Values.
• Support the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement / Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy (BS, MS, or Doctorate).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possesses current Illinois physical therapy license, website listing, or letter to test from the Department of Professional Regulation in the state of Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay rate: $38.13 - $57.20 based on relevant experience.
• This position is eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
• This position is eligible for a relocation stipend if moving more than 50 miles from Blessing Health System.

Location and Schedule

• Location: Blessing Hospital Physical Therapy I/P.
• Schedule: Full-Time, Days, varies; 40 hours; holiday/weekend rotation.
