Physical Therapist

Location: Stockton, California

Job Description:

• Work in a correctional facility providing physical therapy services.
• Full-time contract for 6 to 9 months with potential for extension.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 07:30am - 03:30pm.

Requirements:

• Twelve months of continuous experience within the last three years rendering direct patient care in public or private institutions.
• Clinical competencies must be current.
• Valid Photo ID Driver's License or Passport.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Valid California PT license hard copy required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform in accordance with the CDCR Institution/Facilities policies and procedures consistent with generally accepted evidence-based Physical Therapy practices.
• Provide Physical Therapy services to patients upon physician referral and order.
• Offer Physical Therapy services directly in cases where the patient has an existing and documented diagnosis.
