    Radiation Oncologist

    Location: Lima, Ohio

    Mercy Health in Lima, Ohio is seeking a board certified/board eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our busy group in 2025 or 2026. This position is a replacement for a well-respected physician who is transitioning into retirement. Our region offers small city, small town, suburban, and rural living options all within 1-2 hours of metro areas and airports, including Toledo, Dayton, Fort Wayne, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Detroit.

    Job Description:

    • Integrated model of care with a collaborative team approach
    • Satellite affiliate of The James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio
    • Opportunities available to work with academic radiation oncologists
    • Clinical trial research program with Ohio State
    • Two Outpatient Centers: Lima, OH and Celina, OH
    • Pharmacy & Lab on site at the Cancer Center
    • Average patient load is 35-40 per day (Lima & Celina Centers)
    • Equipment includes Mosaiq, Pinnacle, MIM, Varian Accelerators, Phillips & GE CT Scanners
    • EMR is EPIC
    • Dedicated Oncology Navigators
    • Integrated Breast Clinic
    • Fully Staffed with Tumor Registry
    • Inpatient acute with 28 beds
    • Comprehensive Palliative Care Program with their own medical director
    • Comprehensive Hospice Care Program with their own medical director
    • Women's Wellness Center located near main campus
    • Experienced staff and nurses all have BSN, 2 Advanced Practice Providers
    • Teach Residents (IM, EM, FM) and Ohio State Medical Students on a rural medicine track
