Ultrasound Technologist

Under the general supervision of the Ultrasound Manager and Supervisor, the Ultrasound Technologist provides skill and initiative to the department mission through interactions with staff, Supervisor, and others as necessary. Primary duties are to work as a Technologist generating diagnostic images for physicians, while also implementing policy and procedures as determined necessary through Manager and Supervisors.

• Implement policies and procedures as determined by Manager and Supervisors

Requirements

• Associate's degree (or equivalent from a two-year college) or certificate program in Ultrasound Technology
• RDMS required
• 3+ years of experience is required
• Knowledge of principles and procedures of Ultrasound and the operation and maintenance of Radiologic and/or Ultrasound equipment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and address any apprehensions, instruct students, and provide technical supervision to staff technologists
