    Job Description:

    • Assist in ensuring quality nursing care to all residents/patients.
    • Support and practice the philosophy, nursing objectives, and standards of the Department of Nursing.
    • Ensure that the nursing department is adequately staffed to provide quality care to patients/residents.
    • Ensure the provision of in-service/staff development programs that contribute to meeting nursing objectives and standards and comply with all state and federal regulations.
    • Provide clinical expertise to facilitate and support the nursing process in patient/resident interventions.
    • Assist in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for patients/residents, employees, and visitors.
    • Exercise administrative and functional supervision over nursing personnel as directed by the Director of Nursing and Assistant DON.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of 1-2 years' management experience
    • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
    • Valid RN nursing license in the state of Wisconsin
