Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Briarfield Health Care Centers is seeking LPNs to join our teams across Mahoning & Columbiana Counties! We offer 9 locations with various skills.

Job Description

• Provide nursing services to residents, while promoting the highest level of well-being, as directed by management.
• Direct the day-to-day functions of Resident Assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern long-term care.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Focus on providing high-quality service.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.
• Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
• Demonstrate excellent literacy and writing, documentation, communications, and interpersonal abilities.
• Make prompt and accurate judgments with regard to elder care and emergencies.
• Work and communicate effectively with minimum supervision in a team environment.

Requirements

• Must have a Nursing Degree from an accredited program or college/university.
• A current, unencumbered, active Ohio LPN license.
• Must have current CPR certification.
• At least one year of experience in Elderly Care preferred.
