Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking an additional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! We are a general dental practice, with state-of-the-art equipment, that focuses on providing the highest level of care. Bright Side Dental looks like a corporate organization but in actuality, each is a family-owned practice and the owner normally works as the main doctor in the practice. We have a full management team to assist our practices in the areas of HR, staff training & CE, finance, operations, and staff happiness. We pride ourselves on having a fun and friendly culture with staff and patient happiness as our top priority.

If you are friendly, team-oriented, and take pride in educating and maintaining patient relationships, we'd love to hear from you! This position can be part-time or full-time; we are flexible. To start, the hours for this position would be:

• Mon-Fri can be flexible; we have full-time and part-time positions available
• Saturdays: 8am-1:00pm (2 per month)

Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments and cleanings, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and dental terminology.
• Assist in chairside procedures, documenting patient care and medical records accurately.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide comprehensive care, utilizing software like Eaglesoft and Dentrix for efficient record management.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical records
• Familiarity with documentation review
• Knowledge of Dentrix software
