Job Description

• Provide a full range of infusion therapies, including (but not limited to) IV antibiotics, hydration, TPN, pain management, and chemotherapy.
• Maintain expertise in infusion best practices, including PICC line and central line management, and adhere to strict safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot infusion-related issues, provide patient and family education, and ensure the safe and effective delivery of medication.
• Develop and manage comprehensive care plans for clients requiring infusion therapy and other skilled nursing needs.
• Assess client needs, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress accurately and timely.
• Provide leadership, support, and guidance to home health aides and LPNs.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate client care.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations and BrightStar Care standards.

Requirements

• Current and valid RN license in the state of Nebraska.
• Significant experience in administering infusions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in home health, hospice, or a related field.
• CRNI certification (Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion).
