    Job Description:

    • Seeking a full-time BC/BE Hospitalist to join a well-established Hospitalist program
    • Flexibility to split with outpatient Family Medicine or Internal Medicine if desired
    • Pay incentive for extra shifts
    • Full-time equivalent = 24 weeks/year

    • 160+ bed hospital and Level III Trauma Center
    • Schedule: 7 on 7 off, 12-hour shifts
    • Hospitalists will cover Med/Surg & ICU, including ventilator co-management with intensivist, RT, and remote support from Duluth
    • Current team consists of 10 physicians and 2 NPs

    Teaching Opportunities:

    • Opportunity to teach and precept medical and PA students
    • Opportunities for future program leadership

    Patient Care:

    • 13-16 patients per day, per hospitalist (rounding and admitting)
    • Average inpatient practice volume per day: Med Surg-50 / ICU-10
    • Average daily census on unit: 50-60
    • Certified Primary Stroke Center, co-management with stroke neurology
    • Growing cardiovascular program and top-performing sepsis care
    • Hospitalist team runs codes and rapid responses
    • No procedures required (general surgery performs central lines)

    Requirements:

    • BC/BE Internal Medicine or Hospitalist Residency, or Family Medicine with Hospitalist experience
    • Current ACLS Required
