Job Description:
- Seeking a full-time (4.0 or 4.5 days/week) general surgeon to join a team of part-time and per diem general surgeons.
- Offers a broad scope of practice typical for a rural community.
- Provides office-based general surgery services to new and established patients of all ages.
- Includes initial consultation for common general surgery concerns, performance of minor procedures, education and counseling of patients and families.
- Orders diagnostic tests, referral to related other specialties within and at tertiary care centers, and communication with PCPs.
- Clinical support is provided by a medical assistant.
