Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is recruiting a Geriatrician to join our well-established Older Adults service line within the Department of Medicine. CHA is an award-winning health system based in Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston's metro-north communities. CHA provides innovative primary, specialty, and emergency care to our diverse patient population through an established network of ambulatory clinics, an urgent care site, and two full-service hospitals.

Job Description

• Full-time geriatrician opportunity
• Join a dedicated team providing high-quality care through our nursing home and house calls programs
• Our division includes eight geriatric physicians and a team of skilled nurse practitioners. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and work hours, supporting an excellent work-life balance.
• You will use the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• The position carries a Harvard Medical School (HMS) appointment of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications, and commitment to teaching responsibilities.
• Call schedule: 1:8, telephone-only; first call is covered by nurse practitioners.

Requirements

• BC/BE in Internal or Family Medicine, as well as Geriatrics, successful completion of a geriatric medicine fellowship
• Qualified candidates will possess excellent clinical and communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to serving CHA's diverse and deserving patient population.
• Previous experience in an academic safety net system is a plus.
